ABOUT
LTC G. Scott Wakefield (ret), PhD ACC has been coaching and training for the past 20 years in areas such as leader development, change, and human interaction. In addition to teaching as adjunct faculty at Fielding, he is an adjunct professor at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. His coaching includes individuals and groups, most recently with U.S. Air Force air crews. His focus is helping people understand the link between interpersonal and organizational dynamics, to include awareness of how the structures and cultures can be understood in a way that increases performance.
Dr. Wakefield has a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Notre Dame College, a Master’s degree in Organizational Development, and received his PhD in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University. He was a member of the National Training Labs Institute of Applied Behavioral Sciences, facilitating human interaction labs from Ojai, California to Bethel, Maine. Dr. Wakefield is certified (ACC) by the International Coach Federation, certified in MBTI and is a trained Stephen Covey facilitator. He lives with his wife, Paula, in Bradenton, FL and Bedford, NH. When not working, he enjoys much golf and tennis, having experienced his fourth hole-in-one last year.
